Partners
Due to the interdisciplinary nature and public health orientation of the Programme, many partner organisations form part of the implementation arrangement.
The main partner and the lead authority is the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, represented by the Maternal and Child Health department.
Other important partners are educational institutions that provide scientific and methodological support and expertise. The closest partner of the Programme is NMAPE. As well, there has been successful collaboration with the Lviv Medical University, the Ivano-Frankivsk Medical University, the Kiev-Mohyla Academy (School of Public Health) and others.
At local level, the key Programme partners are oblast health administrations, rayon health authorities and managers. Also, in the frame of Health Promotion component, social services, educational institutions and mass media are involved in the Programme activities.
The Programme also collaborates with other international organizations such as the WHO and international professional societies.
SDC is the donor organization that provides funds for the implementation of the Programme.
SCIH is the implementing institution of the Programme. It has been contracted by SDC and has its representative office in Ukraine.
