Ministry of Health of Ukraine
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine is the Programme owner and as such has the lead of setting the main policy directions. An agreement has been signed between SCO and MoH that defines the objectives and scope of the Programme. The Programme operations are being directed by two professional institutions: the Swiss Centre for International Health and the Child Wellbeing Fund. One of the coordinating tools used by MoH is the Steering Committee that is held twice a year.
Two MoH departments supervise and guide Programme activities: MCH and PHC departments. Officials of these departments provide expertise for elaboration and evaluation of conceptual documents, facilitate different Programme events, and support the official approval of Programme products. The Programme National Coordinator for many years is Dr. R. Moiseenko.
