I Ukrainian congress “Medical and biological informatics and cybernetics”
On 23-26 of June 2010, the First Ukrainian congress devoted to issues of the development of medical and biological informatics and cybernetics in Ukraine took place in Kiev.
The main organizers of congress were MoH of Ukraine, AMS of Ukraine and NMAPE. The aim of congress was to exchange the results of scientific researches and practical work on the development of modern ICT in health care and medical education. More than 200 presentations were done at plenary, satellites and sections of congress. The presentations were done by representatives on known scientific, educational, international and private organizations. More than 10 countries took part in congress: Ukraine, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, USA, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova, etc.
MCH Programme was actively involved into preparation and participation in congress:
- it was one of the sponsors of congress;
- it made two presentations during the congress.

Active involvement of Programme into congress has allowed as look at the experience of other organizations and countries, so present its own products of long-term Swiss-Ukrainian collaboration. Such exchange of experience creates a basis for the recognition and dissemination of Programme achievements to national level.
