New associated partners
Considering official letter of Kyiv oblast health administration, since 2010 Kyiv oblast has officially joined to the Programme implementation.
Kyiv oblast center of MCH and Brovary CRH have become associated partners of Programme.
It has become possible thanks to the initiative of recently appointed Kyiv oblast Chief obstetrician, Dr A. Shutka. Before, he was occupied as obstetrician in Ivano-Frankivsk Perinatal Center and thus, took part in Programme implementation in previous phases. Dr A. Shutka stated that implementation of Programme made a real difference in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, and he would like to share this positive experience to Kyiv oblast to improve current situation.
Since now, medical and managerial personnel of new partner hospitals could take part in the following Programme activities: clinical and managerial training, telemedicine, and receive recommendation of Programme experts regarding infrastructure change. Already, doctors from partner hospitals took part in clinical training (ToT) on 9-11 of February 2010.
